New Items on the Website

I want to take an opportunity to quickly point out a couple of new items that have been added to this website.

First, there is the notice at the top of the page to email me at srp7544@lausd.net for updates to this website. Send me an email letting me know that you'd like to receive updates to the site. I will be sending out emails each time I add something new.

Secondly, I have added "Document Links" to the right side of the website. By clicking on these links, you will be able to view and print assignments, worksheets and other documents that you may need either to study or to complete homework assignments. So far I have only added the vocabulary lists for each week since the beginning of the school year but I will continue to add items as time goes on.

Welcome Back!

Happy New Year everyone! I'm very excited to be back in room 154, both at school and here on this website. I had a great vacation, but I am excited to return to NMS. I hope that everyone else had a relaxing time off and shares in my excitement to return.

Now that we're back, I would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the following pieces of important information:

-First semester will end on February 1st. This is approximately 18 school days away.
-All extra-credit Book Report Projects must be turned in by January 28th. There will be no exceptions.
-Report cards were distributed to students in their homerooms during the last week of school before they went on vacation. Parents, if you have not received your child's report card by now, please contact the school.
-The final report card grades for first semester will be turned in at the end of January. These grades will affect culmination eligibility.

Please be sure to check the calendar at the bottom of this page for information about assignment due dates and other school information. Although it's been a few weeks since we have been in school, I'm sure that everyone can end this semester successfully by working hard all the way to the last day.
